Disabilities

A-Team

The A-Team comprises more than 30 men and women with a variety of cognitive and multiple  disabilities, who gather for worship, learning, and fellowship. Founded more than 20 years ago, the group takes its name from the popular 80s TV show that featured tenacity and a willingness to face all challenges.

West Shore's mission is to make disciples of people with special needs and their families, empower them to become more like Jesus, and incorporate them to the fullest possible extent into the local body of believers.

This vibrant, growing ministry attracts individuals who come with their families or from various group homes in the area. There is also a van available for transportation needs.

The group is fully integrated into the life of  the church: attending Sunday services, getting involved in service projects, participating in mission trips, and just milling about in the halls greeting people and sharing their unconditional love.
