FREE! . . .

is a member ministry of Exodus International, a worldwide interdenominational Christian organization called to encourage, strengthen, unify and equip Christians to minister the transforming power of the Lord Jesus Christ to those affected by homosexuality.  Free! is the Harrisburg area ministry of Exodus, based at West Shore Evangelical Free Church.
 
Free! provides lay consultation for those who wish to stop their same-sex attractions; and for parents, spouses, or other loved ones of those with same-sex attractions. It does this with:
  • a weekly group meeting
  • individual consultations
  • speaking in churches and on college campuses, and
  • correspondence for prisoners and others not accessible to West Shore Free Church.
Meetings
Some weekly group meetings are open and drop-in; others are closed.  The current weekly group meeting is open Monday evenings from 7-9 PM.  An intake interview is necessary for participation in the group. There is no cost for any ministry of Free!

The touchstones of Free! are spirituality, confidentiality, and relational wholeness. 

Spirituality
Free! encourages a moment-by-moment relationship with Jesus Christ by faith. You do not need to be a Christian to participate in Free! but the program is based on Christian discipleship and spiritual disciplines.

Confidentiality
Free! has been helping men and women since January, 1986 with the highest respect for the confidentiality of all who contact Free! in any way.

Relational wholeness
Free! group meetings support overcomers in love, with the aim that overcomers will grow in relational wholeness with God, with the same sex, and with the opposite sex.
