Welcome to the Worship Ministry at West Shore

We want worship at West Shore to humble, inspire and engage, and to invigorate
everyone to go into the world and be like Jesus. 

Children/Youth Worship

While all of our Sunday worship services can be an enriching time for families and individuals of all ages, we also offer special worship experiences for children and teenagers. 

Each Sunday from 10:15 to 10:45 AM, our children learn to praise God in Worship Adventure.  On the last Sunday of the month families are invited to worship with the children. 
 
Likewise, Junior and Senior-High youth lead their own worship and learning time during the second service, which starts at 10:45 AM.  

Of course, worship is not just a Sunday event: it is a daily exercise.  To give God honor and to commune with him regularly, we have scheduled activities during the week such as Wednesday night prayer for adults and a program for kids.

Ushers
Our ushers are an especially warm group who want to ensure that visitors and members feel welcomeand comfortable.  Should you be interested in serving as an usher, please contact Brett Kinney.  Also contact Brett if you are an usher and would like the usher contact information sent to you to find a backup when you are out of town. 

Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
West Shore's "Deaf Konnect Ministry" provides sign language interpretation for the 9:00 AM Sunday service.  Its mission is to provide a deaf-friendly church community and encourage deaf and hard-of-hearing people to fully participate in all aspects of church life. For those in need, seating is located in the raised section of the auditorium and is open to friends and family as well.  Questions? Please contact the church office at 697.0226.

Technical
Supporting and enhancing the worship activities and so much more is the capable technical ministry team, which provides audio,video, lighting, and computing tools. The team uses the latest software to drive everything from projecting lyrics on sanctuary screens to projecting the service to screens throughout the church.  Audio recordings of Sunday services are made available for purchase at Sermon Central and dowloadable as podcasts on the website.
