New Beginnings
is a diverse group of people—ages 16-63+, male and female, with issues such as depressions, disabilities, loss, addiction and more. New Beginnings is also for those with past issues that want to continue to grow in an intimate setting as well as "wounded healers" willing to help others heal through the Holy Spirit and Christian fellowship.

What We Represent
We value our diversity, we seek intimacy with each other and the Lord God, we accept we are sinners saved by grace and wish to dialogue about that. We are not afraid of our mistakes as they are leading to Divine healing. We love to share how God is working in our lives, and also honor those who wish to be silent. Above all else, we wish to love each other, grow into an intimate relationship with God and encourage others to do the same.

Our Teaching Method

We use teaching facilitators, Biblical studies and testimonies (from "wounded healers," some members of our group and others in the church body).

Meeting Time

Second hour (10:45-12:00 noon), Sunday, in the Pastors' office foyer (Suite C).

Biblical Principles
  1. The things that are done in secret are things that people are ashamed even to speak of; but anything exposed by the light will be illuminated and anything illuminated turns to light. (Ephesians 5:12-14)
  2. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (I Thessalonians 5:11)
  3. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
