MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers
Need Community? MOPS has an open, caring, and accepting atmosphere where women can come together to share this important season of life. Any mom of a child ages birth through kindergarten is welcome.
Need Mentoring? We have wonderful Mentor Moms! Come hear their great advice and receive lots of encouragement from someone who has "who have been there and done that."
Want Practical Instruction? MOPS speakers focus on areas of common interest, offering inspiration and information that is relevant to the life of a mother.
Our 2010-2011 program -- "Momology" -- runs Thursdays, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., from September to April. Listen to inspiring speakers and enjoy a tasty brunch. Fun activities are planned for your children (ages birth through kindergarten) in our MOPPETS kids program (childcare included).
The cost is $23.95 for the MOPS International registration plus a fee for each semester, fall ($45) and spring ($35), to cover childcare, craft supplies, and hospitality. Register and pay for both semesters before September 16 and pay $70 (a $10 savings). Checks should be made out to WSEFC. Scholarships are available.
- Childcare is provided for each meeting.
- For more information or to register, contact Susan Kline or Julie Stansbury or call 620-2330 ext. 103.
Volunteers We can use your help in a number of ways, including:
- Mom Mentors (a mom who has survived the preschool years and desires to encourage and minister to moms with young children)
- MOPPETS teachers and helpers
