Nursery

Our secure nursery environment (for children two and under) is located on the upper level outside the auditorium. Changing tables are located right in the rooms and bathroom facilities adjacent to the rooms so the caregivers never have to leave the babies unattended. The nursery rooms are fully carpeted, providing babies with ample space to crawl and play. A nursing mother’s room is located directly off the nursery lobby with comfortable rockers and a television to watch the worship service.

Care
Children receive lots of loving care and attention in our nurseries. An assortment of age-appropriate toys, games, books, music, and puzzles give children an opportunity to interact with the caregivers, enjoy creative play, and develop their motor skills. If your children are upset about you leaving, the caregivers will work with you to find the best way to comfort them. In most cases, crying stops a few moments after parents leave and becomes less common with regular attendance. If a child continues to cry after five or ten minutes, we will page the parents.

Supplies
Parents should bring their child’s personal items weekly. These items should include:

• diaper bag
• diapers
• change of clothes
• bottle or sippy cup
• perhaps a favorite blanket that would give your baby comfort and security..
