Promoting Truth & Growth

The West Shore Free Church library promotes the truth of Jesus Christ and a desire to grow in faith through the joy of reading. Our commitment to knowing the glory of the Lord—in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge—is evident in the library’s vast collection of books, CDs, DVDs and other media. Spanning every genre and style, and all from Christian authors and publishers, the library’s treasure trove of materials will indeed inspire, educate and entertain readers of all backgrounds and interests.

Our Services

Each new library acquisition undergoes a thorough screening, cataloging, covering and data entry process by a dedicated library coordinator and a team of volunteers who ensure that the subject matter proclaims and promotes God’s intention for the families and individuals of our church. Books and other materials can be checked out for a two-week period (with the exception of AV materials, which are checked out for one week) and can be returned to the library’s front desk or the convenient book-drop slot. We do not charge fines for overdue materials and will send friendly late-notice reminders by email to patrons.

Our Offerings

Located on the center table in the library’s main aisle, a library computer holds a searchable catalog of the library’s 10,000+ holdings. Or you can ask library staff about the vast array of titles suitable for all age levels and interests, including a special section of free books and media ready for a new home.
